The University of Toledo College of Law and Ohio Northern University have partnered with the Ohio State Bar Association and Foundation to launch "Lawyers = Justice." Designed to combat the shortage of attorneys in rural Northwest Ohio, this initiative will operate out of Bowling Green and Lima using a hybrid fellowship-clinic model. It will offer hands-on experience for up to 40 law students while supporting four new lawyer fellows as they establish local private practices. Read more about the collaboration at  Spectrum News .

 In 2025, Ohio attorneys donated 112,000 pro bono hours valued at over $28 million, marking a substantial increase from 2024. As a continuation of America's 250 celebrations, Cuyahoga County officials are gathering at Cleveland's Public Square this Wednesday at 5 p.m. for a public reading of the Declaration of Independence. The event will take place at the Soldiers’ and Sailors’ Monument, and local residents are encouraged to attend.
