New NCLC Survey Shows Americans Have Confidence in State Courts

 

According to a press release published by the National Center for State Courts, a recent survey confirms that nearly two-thirds of Americans express confidence in state courts. The summary of the report reveals that:

  • 63% believe state courts are “committed to protecting individual and civil rights”
  • 59% believe state courts “treat people with dignity and respect”
  • 64% support licensing non-lawyers to provide limited legal services
